My best friend is edgy and satisfyingly classy. The blue represents how I am her foundation. I add to her strength and raise her when she is weak. I am everything her spouse cannot be.
The dress has a very bold, yet appropriate tinge. It is styled in a drape fashion, which offers a sense of sincerity and wist. The black shoes and accessories contrast the whiteness that pronounces the bride, my best friend, as she stands at the head of the aisle. It is her big day, not mine. And she should shine.
Poetry and prose based on "If You Told Me To" by Hunter Hayes.
